A published author of Clinical manuscripts on Cosmetic Dentistry, Prof. Khaldoon has written several informative articles in local magazines and newspapers related to cosmetic dentistry, materials, and techniques.  He has also published work in The American Academy of Dental Materials Journal and in The Dental Horizon Journal.

Over the last 15 years, Prof. Khaldoon has lectured to other dentists internationally and locally.  He is the chairperson of the United Arab Emirates International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition in Dubai from 2004 till date.  He is also a member of the Editorial team of The Dental Horizons Journal.  Prof. Khaldoon has also been affiliated with a few universities.  He was an assistant professor in Restorative Dentistry at Turner Dental School, University of Manchester for two years, and in Ajman University, Abu Dhabi, for two years, teaching and supervising third, fourth, and fifth-year students.
